The electronic pioneers close up their European tour with two nights in Manchester
Rick Smith and Karl Hyde have been bringing joy to fans across the world through their energetic live show for decades – and 2024 will see Underworld up their game once again.
Finishing off their extensive headline 2024 European tour, the duo stop off in Manchester at Aviva Studios. No strangers to Factory International, the band were integral to the founding of Manchester Street Poem – a co-produced art collective whose work reflects the personal experiences of Manchester’s marginalised communities and first featured in the 2017 edition of Manchester International Festival.
Latest single denver luna – available in both acapella and full length versions – shows off the distinctive lyrics and the driving, propulsive sound they’re known for. Invigorating and vital, their new work continues to cement Underworld as pioneers of the UK electronic music scene.
Notable live moments from 2023 include a sold-out Royal Albert Hall in London, a crowd-rousing Coachella set in Palm Springs, a headline slot at electronic music festival Junction 2 in London and topping the bill at Lowlands festival in the Netherlands.

There are accessible toilets on all public levels of our building.
Accessible toilets are located inside the main toilets space in the brick arches of the Social.
Here you’ll find a mixture of accessible cubicles with left- or right-hand transfer, as well as ambulant accessible cubicles with grab rails. This is also where you can find our Changing Places facility.
The toilets in the brick arches of the Social are gender neutral, so you can use facilities in any of the three arches.
There are additional accessible toilets in located in both Hall Foyers, at stalls and circle level.
You do not need a key to use the accessible toilets at Aviva Studios.
Assistance dogs are welcome at Aviva Studios, and we can provide mats and bowls in the Social on request. For this show, where the noise levels are likely to be too high for assistance dogs to go into the performance, we are happy to take care of your dog while you are enjoying the gig.
