For the second in our series Festival in My House, Levenshulme resident Nija Dalal-Small invited 10 Manchester artists to create brand new contemporary designs inspired by mehndi, the traditional art of painting temporary henna tattoos on the hands, feet and body.

The audience were invited into Nija’s home to experience the event and walk away with a unique artwork on their hands.
