Explore the history of Manchester’s working class through film with a screening led by REELMCR.

Enjoy archive footage and new interviews from years of community engagement across Greater Manchester and the North.

Dive into the story of local legends and community film organisation REELMCR, told by eight characters in black and white interviews edited together with archive footage, including poet Tony Walsh and more.

The Welcome: Community Takeover is a series of free events at Aviva Studios featuring creative workshops, talks, kids’ activities and the best local music. Just drop by the Social – there's always something on.

The Social bar will be open for refreshments.
