I am looking forward to 100 Waving Kites – a project created by Get It Done. Hundreds of kites featuring self-portraits have been created by school children from Greater Manchester boroughs such as Rochdale, Salford, Tameside, Bury and Manchester. This visual arts installation is in the Hall Foyer and free to have a look at across the nine days. School children that created these kites are having a trip during The Welcome to see their artwork waving people into Aviva Studios.
