Editor in Residence | Zing Tsjeng
About
As our latest Editor in Residence, Zing Tsjeng takes our summer programme as a starting point – finding parallels in the way Ai Weiwei and Sinéad O’Connor expose and resist authority.
In the spirit of their work, Zing's takeover draws on the unexpected confluences, associations and solidarities between the East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) and Irish diaspora living in the shadow of the British Empire.
Zing Tsjeng is a journalist, editor and broadcaster. She is the author of the Forgotten Women nonfiction book series and the host of the BBC World Service podcast Good Bad Billionaire. She was previously the editor in chief of VICE and has written for British Vogue, The Guardian, ELLE, Style and more.
