Aviva Studios is a global destination for art, music and culture in the heart of Manchester – a city with a rich musical history.

Alongside Factory International's artistic programme and Manchester International Festival, we host a year-round music programme featuring the world's most exciting stars – from Robbie Williams to Lily Allen to FKA twigs.

Endless possibilities unfold within our walls: the ultra-flexible Warehouse houses up to 4,500 standing and is built for ambition; the Andrew Law Hall has an unbeatable d&b Surround Soundscape with a supersized stage; the Social offers a relaxed, intimate audience experience.

Why Aviva Studios?

Aviva Studios is a world-class touring venue right here in Manchester.

We are located in St. Johns – a buzzing creative district in the city centre with excellent public transport links.

With six spaces to choose from, we have flexible capacities to suit your needs – from intimate seated shows to 4,500 standing gigs.

The Hall is equipped with a state-of-the-art d&b Surround Soundscape.

We provide purpose-built loading and production for every event.

You will benefit from the expertise of our programming, technical and production teams as well as Factory International’s international reputation.

Where artists dream big

Since opening our doors in 2023, we've hosted some of the world's biggest artists including Robbie Williams, Janelle Monae, Johnny Marr, FKA twigs, Kesha, Sombr, Lily Allen, Halsey and Fontaines D.C.

From an intimate, in-the-round stage for Sampha to a massive Warehouse rave for Teletech, we've adapted our spaces to help realise artist's dreams.

The Warehouse

Accommodates up to 4,500 people based on a 26'×64' (7930mm×19520mm) end on stage

A retractable wall allows you to reconfigure the space into the North and South Warehouse.

Acoustic separation allows multi-use across the venue at any one time

Direct articulated truck access

Anchor points in the wall to support any kind of mount or rigging
