What is a party in a locked-down world? What do you wear? What do we do? What should you bring? What do we need to know?
Three years ago, Nigel Barrett and Louise Mari from pioneering cult performance collective Shunt brought the party to end all parties to MIF17. At the height of the UK’s lockdown in May 2020, they attempted to squeeze their genre-defying epic show into the tiny digital portal that now connects all of our isolated worlds. We invited you to join us and raise a glass to celebrate the things we’re still able to share when we are so close and yet so far away. You came to hang out, made some friends, learned some new skills – and now you can relive the evening with this film of highlights from 6pm on Friday 10 July over on our YouTube channel.
