Joy was on the menu for the first Saturday of Fezzy Square with multitalented South African superstar Nakhane, local star B!TEZ and Homoelectric all bringing their own blend of euphoric pop

Kicking off with family fun – Our Kids Social started the day right with their super fun DJ sets for all ages. A trio of Manchester-based talent then took over our riverside home – Guacamaya added a cumbia-infused flavour to proceedings, Factory Sounds alumni B!TEZ brought her perfect cerebral pop productions and Cariss Auburn added her smooth alt. RnB to the mix.

Topping off the bill was international superstar Nakhane. Hailing from South Africa, they’re known for their euphoric alt. pop, and have collaborated with the likes of Perfume Genius, Nile Rodgers and ANOHNI. We danced away our troubles while their blissed-out sound washed over us, before Bay Bryan performed with a full band – the singer-songwriter is setting the Manchester scene alight with his latest release. To see us out, legends of all things late-night and LGBTQIA+ Homoelectric took over the decks.
