Apply for our free Factory Academy course on producing live events
Ever wondered what it actually takes to bring a live event to life?
This practical course will introduce you to the world of event management and production, giving you an understanding of what happens behind the scenes to take an event from an initial idea through to delivery.
You’ll explore the different roles involved in producing live events and build skills across areas including event planning, budgeting, production, health and safety, technical requirements, logistics, accessibility and working with audiences.
Along the way, you’ll respond to a real-world event brief and create your own Event Operations Pack – bringing together the kind of planning and documentation used by professionals working across the industry. You’ll also develop your confidence in communicating your ideas and pitching an event proposal.
The programme includes practical industry experience in a professional live event environment, giving you the chance to see event operations in action, work alongside industry professionals and build experience you can take into future applications and add to your CV or portfolio.
