De La Soul took Manchester back to the Daisy Age with their only full-scale UK shows of the year, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their fabulous debut 3 Feet High and Rising. Since the late 1980s, the hip hop trio has been proving to audiences worldwide that three really is the magic number. However, it wasn’t just Posdnuous, Maseo and Trugoy entertaining packed houses at the Ritz: these very special gigs featured an array of special guests, including Prince Paul, Mos Def and Damon Albarn.
