Heston Blumenthal spent much of 2007 going In Search of Perfection for the BBC, but the world-renowned chef took time out to create a predictably unpredictable trio of Chilled Summer Treats exclusively for MIF07. The adventurous and hungry took their pick from a strawberry and vanilla sundae with olive and leather, mushy pea sorbet, and a frozen chocolate wine slushicle with millionaire’s shortbread – all served from colourful beach huts in the heart of Festival Square.
