Manchester’s global new music discovery festival and change-making music industry conference comes to Aviva Studios.
Bag a delegate pass to access three days and four nights of groundbreaking conversations and live music showcases across Aviva Studios and the Northern Quarter.
Beyond The Music will explore ongoing challenges in the music and content industry – from AI copyright threats and the pervasive culture of misogyny to a blocked talent pipeline and an unsustainable economic model.
By day, join artists, business executives, innovators, politicians and thought leaders from a range of sectors to tackle these urgent global issues. Come together to find solutions, innovate and build an ambitious plan for the industry that champions human creative potential with a firm artist-first focus.
By night, head out into the city for a diverse line-up of gigs taking over the Northern Quarter and discover the artists of the future in Manchester’s most exciting venues.

6.45–7.45pm KEYNOTE Aitch in conversation with Dotty (Apple Music)
BRIT award-winning, multi-platinum-selling artist Aitch kicks off the conference as the opening Keynote speaker, in conversation with Dotty, host of ‘The Dotty Show’ on Apple Music 1 & Lead Cultural Curator, Black Music for Apple Music UK.
Aitch continues to make waves across UK music and culture. Kicking off this year with ‘Famous Girl’, he reunited with German rapper Luciano for the Euros-inspired track ‘Baddies’, before joining forces once more with D-Block Europe for his latest offering, ‘Gold Mine’, showing the sentimental side of his character, explored on his #2 debut album Close To Home.
‘Dotty In conversation with Aitch’ promises to touch on a range of topics, from the importance of Manchester’s musical legacy for today’s generation of artists, Aitch’s personal experiences and challenges within the industry, to the idea of decentralising London as the home of UK rap.
