Are you an artist or creative interested in promoting your work internationally? Would you like to hear from our experienced team of international producers on where to start and what’s involved?

In this 60-minute session, Michelle Rocha, Head of Touring, and Eva Pepper, Head of International Partnerships, offer insights gathered from many years’ experience on what makes a good pitch, the practicalities you’ll need to consider in touring work internationally and what international promoters might be looking for.

This online session is free for artists, creatives and producers who might want to take the next step with their work internationally.

Eva Pepper

Originally from Austria, Eva has lived and worked in the UK since 1991. As Head of International Partnerships, her focus is on Factory International’s long-term relationships with international venues and festivals through co-commissioning. Eva has spent most of her career working in the performing arts, most notably as Executive Producer of the pioneering DV8 Physical Theatre where she nurtured relationships with international co-commissioners and presenters. Other roles include international associate at Slovenian dance company EN-KNAP and Executive Producer at Mark Bruce Company. She has also worked as a freelance tour booker, fundraiser and translator.

Michelle Rocha

Michelle is Head of Touring at Factory International where she is responsible for bringing original new works co-commissioned by Factory International to global audiences. She is also a Board Member of Quarantine, a theatre company. Previously, she was the Producer at West Kowloon Cultural District (HK), overseeing music and outdoor productions. She has also worked at the Wales Millennium Centre (UK) for the 2012 Olympics, the Hong Kong Dance Company, Lushington/Live Nation, the Hong Kong Museum of Art and the Hong Kong International Jazz Festival and is a Clore Fellow.
