Manchester-born musician and DJ Calum Lee – aka Paleman – has won cult status for a series of quietly thrilling releases that have breathed new life into minimal electronic music. With a monthly Rinse FM show and collaborations with the likes of Polar Bear under his belt, Lee took his music to another level at Dark Matter with a live show that incorporated his seriously dazzling jazz drumming. Support came from Sam Walton, another favourite son of the city.
