Frequently Asked Questions

If you have issues or questions relating to the purchase of a print please email tickets@factoryinternational.org.

Each print will be sent with a certificate of authenticity with a pair of hologram stickers with matching edition numbers that are assigned to that print, with one attached to the back of the print and one to the certificate. The stickers are tamper proof (having small perforations that come apart should someone try to remove them). Therefore, we can record the editions with this hologram number for future authenticating.

The poet/artists have authorised MIF to create these unique limited editions, however they are not signed.

There are 50 or 100 of each – please check each print’s webpage for details.

Our process will allocate edition numbers sequentially from No.1 to the run of the prints, and so unfortunately, we do not have a way for buyers to choose their edition numbers.

We are profit sharing with the poet/artists. That means that after production costs we will split the net profit with each poet/artists (apart from Tracey Emin who has kindly donated all her profits to MIF).

We are working with fine art printing specialist Klein Imaging who will print on demand, package and send out the prints. MIF will pass on the relevant names and email and postal addresses for them to fulfil the orders.

They will carefully wrap the prints in plastic or acid free tissue paper that protects the archival quality of the print. They are shipped flat in hardboard envelopes, shrink wrapped between sturdy boards.

Yes, for international order enquiries, please email tickets@factoryinternational.org with your delivery location, and we will email you the international order form. International postage and packing will cost between £15 and £24 depending on your location.

For UK deliveries, we use UK tracked service and aim to despatch within 4 working days with delivery taking 48 hours (this schedule will vary for more remote areas of the UK).

International deliveries will depend on the country but as a guide: EU tracked service will take up to 5 working days and the rest of the world will take up to 10 working days.

Christmas/New Year deliveries

We recommend orders are made no later than Thursday 16 December for UK deliveries in time for Christmas.

Our fine art printers will be closed from 24 December to 3 January inclusive, with normal delivery times resuming after the festive break.

Giclée is a digital printing process for creating archival standard fine art prints. Our printer uses 12-colour Canon giclée printer to produce incredibly detailed prints for both the fine art and photographic markets. Giclée prints render deep, saturated colours and have an exceptional quality that retains minute detail, subtle tints and blends. The term giclée is meant to be applied only to archival digital prints made with fine art paper or canvas.

We are working with a locally based fine art print specialist company on their print on demand service to minimise storage and handling. For 17 of the 21 prints, we are using Hahnemühle’s eco range of fine art papers.

The prints are sold without a frame.

Klein Imaging has helpfully shared with us:

  • To avoid damage to your print from dust and moisture, please keep it protected until it is framed.
  • Please use two hands to support your print so it doesn’t bend. A crease in the print will be permanent.
  • Keep handling to an absolute minimum. If you handle your print, try to do so by the edges/handling border. Always avoid touching the printed area, as fingerprints may mark the print.
  • Please don’t use your hands to wipe off any dust. This can scratch the printed area.
  • Never blow on the prints to remove dust as the moisture can affect the paper. If necessary, you (or your framer) can use compressed air for dust removal.
  • Never place the print image-side-down on any surface. This will cause permanent scuffing.

The print is supplied without a frame, carefully wrapped in plastic or acid free tissue paper that protects the archival quality of the print. They are shipped flat in hardboard envelopes, shrink wrapped between sturdy boards

For limited edition prints, each buyer can purchase a maximum of three of each print, for non-commercial use only. Please see full terms and conditions here
