Get to know Everything is Recorded – the boundary-blurring project from XL boss Richard Russell who brings a rare live show to MIF25 in an intimate and collaborative, ever-shifting set.

Happening tonight, expect something raw, soulful and truly special with special guests Tic, Laura Groves, Roses Gabor, Samantha Morton, Berwyn, Georgia, Yazz Ahmed, Clari Freeman-Taylor and Mela Murder.

Last week, local school children took over our Instagram to introduce An Inheritance – a sprawling collection of knowledge, advice, jokes, memories and objects showing at Manchester Art Gallery in 2025 and again in 2125.

    How does collaboration shape creativity? Join DJ and broadcaster Mary Anne Hobbs, Creative Director of From the Other, Emma Thompson (the team behind Surround Sounds) and Josh Inyang – one half of electronic music innovators, producers, composers and performers and NTS Radio hosts, Space Afrika – for an exciting talk on the art of collaboration.
