READ: AN INTRODUCTION TO THE HERDS

THE HERDS makes its final stop in Greater Manchester, finding a fleeting refuge in the wild beauty of Pennington Flash Country Park.

Not familiar with the project? THE HERDS is a visual dramatisation of the climate crisis and a stark warning of what may come if animals are forced to flee their natural habitats. Read our introduction for an overview of their journey – all the way from the Congo Basin through Northern Africa and into Europe.

Watch: In the Studio with Keiken

Football City, Art United. is underway!

We visited artist collective Keiken in their studio to talk about their artwork, created in collaboration with Manchester United and England trequartista Ella Toone.

The Berlin and London based collective – made up of Tanya Cruz, Hana Omori and Isabel Ramos – imagines future ways of living and existing through filmmaking, gaming, installation, Extended Reality (XR), blockchain and performance.

Three members of Keiken staring at the camera, stood in front of a large, grey piece of material.
