Lost Online: Making the Digital Dance | Chad Taylor | Artist Takeover, Factory International

Transcript

The earth we live in today is shaped like a rectangle. Pupils square. Thumb exercising our attendance at rapid pace.

Swiping on and off the glass wall of this new world. Travelling from one place to another but standing still at the same time.

Time spent through instant access. Wi-Fi connected at all times.

Everyone is connected online. It’s the way we connect. Sometimes I’ve gone on my phone and I just wanna switch it off. I just can’t carry on swiping.

Everyone has different views and different opinions. Things like immigration. Being a grandchild of immigrants, the stuff about war and you know this whole idea of AI taking everyone’s jobs. AI gonna take over the world.
