FAFSWAG was established in 2013 as an informal Queer art collective from Aotearoa New Zealand. Responding to the lack of representation within the creative industries, the collective has come to redefine what it means to occupy a fluid sexuality and gender spectrum, a multi-cultural identity and a growing interdisciplinary practice.

In this short film, the collective introduce their practice and share their studio space - while reflecting on FALE SĀ / SACRED HOUSE and their work created for Manchester International Festival 2025.
