What if...?

Inspired by our summer exhibition Sweet Dreams, Ruby Tandoh takes over Factory+ as Editor in Residence to uncover the alternate realities of food. Exploring our food ecosystems, these essays cover the past, present, future and virtual worlds of food. The celebrated writer has commissioned five exciting voices to ask: what if we thought about our food systems in a different way?

Ruby Tandoh is a food writer and author whose work has been featured in the New Yorker, the Guardian, Eater, Vittles and more. She lives in London.
