Gas works are taking place nearby which means the 10 Blue Badge Spaces on Water Street will be unavailable until 14 December 2023. Manchester City Council have added 7 ‘Temporary Disabled Bays’ to Liverpool Road. These temporary bays are 0.1 mile away from Aviva Studio.

Visitors who have booked access and essential companion tickets should enter the building via the Riverside Doors - there will be ‘Accessible Entrance’ signage - where you will be greeted by our ticketing and access team members. Visitors who have booked an Accessible Viewing Platform ticket will be given a wristband to wear, those with standing tickets will not need a wristband.

Please be aware that during our music events there will be very limited seating in the Social. We have portable stools available to borrow if you would benefit from resting before the show. We are unable to accommodate the use of portable stools in the Warehouse.

For this event we have a dedicated access route to the Warehouse. Once the Warehouse is open, our access hosts can guide you to the Warehouse via the Hall lift, escalator or stairs. You will then be guided to whichever Accessible Viewing Platform you have booked on to, or to the standing area.

Our Accessible Viewing Platforms are available by pre-booking only. Your tickets will say whether you have booked a standing ticket, or a ticket on our Accessible Viewing Platform 1 or 2 (AVP 1 or 2).

Please note that our Accessible Viewing Platforms are fully booked. If you are a wheelchair user and currently hold a standing ticket, please contact our access team (access@factoryinternational.org).

There is likely to be high noise levels and use of lighting effects such as strobe/haze used at this event. Ear defenders and plugs will be available to borrow, please ask a member of staff.

We will soon have a dedicated quiet space in the building, but it’s not quite ready yet. In the meantime, our Hosts will be able to help you find spaces to take a break or step out of a show if you need to.
