MIF invited musician and producer William Orbit to create a new work for the first Festival. Orbit responded with Orchestral Suite, a nine-movement, 70-minute epic scored for the full symphonic forces of the BBC Philharmonic, Manchester Chamber Choir and a battery of percussion. An exciting and enchanting addition to the classical repertoire.
