Join a different kind of Sunday Service as we close out the The Fête of Britain in an afternoon of inspiration, connection and community

Join Brian Eno, Liz Slade and Jennifer Reid for an alternative Sunday Service – a celebration of togetherness and collective creativity.

Whatever your singing experience, lift up your voice as Commoners Choir, She Choir, Open Voice Community Choir and Brian Eno lead us in performing a new anthem for Britain that asks ‘how do we want to live?’ Get dancing to Folk Dance Remixed’s magical collision of traditional folk and hip hop, in a high-energy Maypole and Ceilidh dance-off.

Manchester’s very own Mike Garry will preach from the poetry pulpit, and Jarvis Cocker brings a brand new talk Biophobia, presented by Earth Percent.

This is an afternoon of food for the soul – a reminder of the joy of connecting in community, and a space to gather inspiration to take the spirit of the Fête back to our neighbourhoods. Everyone is invited to join in as we each play our part in shaping The Fête of Britain. With something on all day, just drop in whenever you like.
