Learn how to plan and execute powerful campaigns for creatives in Manchester.

Factory Academy has teamed up with HEADS to develop a dynamic creative course designed to spotlight creative individuals in Manchester. Our focus is on highlighting their unique stories through engaging social content.

Combining HEADS' expertise in brand activations, collaborations and community building with Factory Academy’s proven track record in creative education, this course delves into creative processes and project management. From communication and camera work to editing and event production, this comprehensive A–Z course covers it all.

Through the robust connections of HEADS and Factory Academy, participants will gain unparalleled access within Manchester, leveraging our network of creative individuals and venues to demonstrate the city's and the industry's vast possibilities.

Who can apply?

This course is designed for individuals aged 16 to 18 based who are not in education, employment or training and are based in a Manchester City Council ward, who are not currently in education, employment or training.

This course is designed for those aged 16 to 18. However, for people with physical disabilities or neurodivergence (e.g. Dyslexia, ADHD or Autism), the age limit is 25. For people with care experience who are currently unemployed or economically inactive and not in full-time education or training, the age limit is 21.

We also provide support for 19-year-olds born after 31st August 2005, who are not eligible for Factory Academy’s adult-funded programmes.

As part of this course, you will be assigned a tutor who will conduct one-on-one sessions with you each week at a time that suits you, either on Friday afternoons or Monday between 10am and 4pm.
